Metcalf Bay Beauty is a jewel waiting to be discovered. Nestled in the heart of Metcalf Bay and just across the street from the lake, it's the perfect cabin to keep guests happy for a fun weekend or extended stay.

This cute lil Gambrel is decorated with warmth and comfort. All the rooms are inviting and spacious.

The living room offers a love seat and matching sofa. The pellet stove fireplace is just across from the seating for visual enjoyment. A 27" TV with VCR and DVD is also part of the entertainment in this inviting room.

Both bedrooms are upstairs as well as one full bathroom. Each bedroom offers king size comfort as each room offers a private king bed. The bedroom to the front of the cabin has a small deck that can be enjoyed. Being across the street from the lake allows you to see the lake from the window or the private balcony in this room looking over the neighbors rooftop.

The kitchen is just off the living room and invites its guests to a large dining table and chairs, an island table sits in the middle of the room and offers convenience.

There is a laundry area just off the kitchen that offers a stack washer/dryer combination, great for drying wet clothes from snow play or for convenience when staying extended stays throughout the year. A bathroom with shower is just off this room as well as an exit door to the backyard and back deck.

The back deck is ample size and offers mutiple pieces of furniture to enjoy the great outdoors. The property lends itself well for children playing outdoors as the land is all level.

The kitchen is fully equipped to make cooking a breeze (no pun intended), complete with a counter bar that offers seating or an area perfect for the holiday buffet.

Two dining tables are situated in front of two opposing windows so that diners can enjoy the view.

The wood burning fireplace is situated just off the kitchen and has a large couch opposite that allows guests to enjoy a private place to relax and read a good book or just enjoy the beauty of a roaring fire.

Snow Princess takes on the appearance of icy comfort and offers its guests a very dramatic feel with an airy white netting that flows over the bed. A couch also occupies the room.

Honey Bear is perfect for the kids, one wall is completely lined with gym lockers and the beds are 3 sets of twin/twin bunks.

This little log style cabin was built in 1947 and has been lovingly maintained eversince! Completely remodeled with beautiful tung and groove knotty pine paneling throughout most of the cabin.

Perfect for couples or small families wishing to get away from it all while enjoying true mountain charm.

The welcoming exterior evokes thoughts of storybook characters while the charming interior is warm and cozy. The living room is quaint and comfortable for 6.

A wonderful large fireplace is to the back of the room and consumes one corner. Just opposite the fireplace is a comfy couch (sleeper sofa, Queen). There is also a TV with Dish network offering over 200 entertainment options to enjoy. If that isn't all a VCR is also an option.

Other comfort elements in the room is a rocker and oversized chair/love seat.

The kitchen offers lots of charm. One wall is all cupboards and shelves while the opposite is dedicated to lots of windows to make sure you can enjoy the outdoor view while still in the home. An ample sized stove and oven is perfect for preparing your meals. The intimate little dining table is right in front of another window, again, with the thoughtful appointment to make sure you enjoy the outdoors.

The back porch off the kitchen is where the bathroom is as well as an exit door that leads to outdoors. There are two BBQ's, one charcoal and one propane (choose your preference).

The location of this property is right at the national forest and lots of land to sled and have some great snow play.....We recommend the purchase of adventure pass to be safe.

Upstairs are both bedrooms. Each one intimate and offering different choices.

The charming porch welcomes you warmly, as you pass through the front door you step into a comfortable spacious living room. The Christmas tree pictured does not stay up throughout the year but is there to enjoy at the holiday time.

A wonderful fireplace is a focus in the living room. A TV complete with DVD and VCR is here to enjoy.

The dining table and chairs are nestled to one side of the open floor plan of the kitchen.

The Fully equipped kitchen offers a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker etc., this kitchen is a breeze to work within. A nice deck is in front, you will enter the home on the main (middle) level. The kitchen, dining area, and family room are here.

The kitchen is open and spacious and allows its worker bees to socialize with guests who are in the family room as well. An extended counter top serves as a bar with bar stools for seating. The dinette is to the front of the kitchen with a window right next to the table so that guests can enjoy an outdoor view while seated there.

Hot Tub Highlights: This hot tub is in its own room, the room allows guests to open both slider doors on each side. This allows for the room to be open to the outdoors yet still a private sheltered room.

The front yard is handsomely groomed, complete with an arched arbore over the walkway, storybook in its appearance.

There is parking to either side of the home, plenty of parking for a boat in the summer if needed.

Once inside the cabin it's cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The spacious living room with the wood burning fireplace is in one corner of the room, the couch and accent chairs are situated perfectly to provide a cozy social area for guests or to watch TV, curl up and read a good book, whatever your heart desires.

The dining area is also part of the living room. The dining table seats 8, also great for board games. The motif in the dining area and kitchen is chickens and roosters, supporting the barn look of the exterior.

Cooking for holidays is a pleasure in the kitchens open floorplan, its open to the dining area and the living room.

The bedroom downstairs offers a Queen size bed, its decor with partial lacey canopy and floral walls is lovingly called the"Queens" room. This room also has a bathroom for convenience.

The backyard offers much in the way of comfort in that a BBQ is here for outdoor cooking as well as a variety of furniture to enjoy natures gifts. The yard is like a woodland paradise. Home to many birds and squirrels. A dry creek also runs through the yard.

The Bear Walk is less than 2 miles from Snow Summit or Bear Mtn. Ski resorts.

Location is just the beginning in this wonderful two bedroom cabin. This larger than average two bedrooms gives the comfort and options of a three bedroom home without the price!

Upon walking in you find yourself in a very spacious living room. Futon couches are situated perfectly for the corner unit fireplace to be a focal point while offering some warmth on cool chilly summer or winter evenings and days.

The kitchen is centered in the home and is between the living room and the combination den/game room. Perfectly comfortable for the family and works great for keeping the kitchen crew in touch with guests in either the den or the living room.

The den/game room has lots of optional entertainment. To the left of the room is an expansive wet bar. Centered in the room is a very nice pool table that also doubles as a ping-pong table. If this isn't enough there is a stereo, TV, Playstation console, and electronic darts to entice you to get into the playing spirit.

Two comfy cozy couches are also in this room so that players or spectators can be comfortable when not in play.

Another focal point to this incredible room is the sunken rock fireplace pit. Centered on the back wall with a half circular seating pit surrounding the floor to ceiling fireplace. WOW, ambience plus abounds. This set up just beckons for guests to come and enjoy a quite moment by the fire!

Upstairs are two unique bedrooms, each of them has one of the walls open like a loft, the owner has placed curtains on this so that it allows for privacy when needed yet each bedroom has its own door that closes for privacy. One bedroom has a King and one bedroom has a Queen.

The back yard of this cabin is nice size, wonderful for children to play in the snow. A back deck is ample size and offers a BBQ for outdoor cooking.

You don't have to go any further if you're looking to stay in a quiet area, rich with mountain ambience and a cozy cabin with lots of space.

Most 2 bedrooms only offer a family room, this cabin also provides its guests with a cozy den to enjoy as well.

By first glance you step foot on the wonderful wrap around deck, just perfect for outdoor entertaining. There are 2 seperate round tables and chairs, each with their own umbrella to protect its guests from the sun. A wonderful propane BBQ awaits your catch of the day, chicken, or steaks for the perfect mountain barbeque.

Moving indoors you enter into the cozy den, this room is complete with its own bathroom as well as couch (queen sleeper), accent chair, and beautiful rock fireplace. The fireplace commands attention and offers guests warmth during cool chilly evenings or winter days. Curl up with a good book by the fire and indulge your fantasies, this room promises to be a favorite. Close the door for privacy if you choose to sleep on the sleeper sofa.

From the den you enter into the family/living room, nicely appointed with another sofa and accent chair. The ambience here is awesome in that the ceilings are vaulted,adding to the spacious feeling. One entire wall is floor to ceiling windows offering an incredible feeling of bringing the outdoors inside!

The wood burning stove sits between the sofa and occassional chair. There is an ample sized dining table and chairs as well as bar chairs placed for additonal diners at the counter that seperates the kitchen from the family room.

The fully equipped kitchen floorplan is open and easy to work within. Complete with micro-wave and dishwasher, everything is here to make holiday meals a breeze.

The private bedroom is just off this room and offers a King bed for comfort.

Moving up the stairs from the family room is bedroom #2, this a loft style in that there is no private wall on the one side. The view from this room is incredible as it allows guests to peer right across through to upper level windows from the family room and right to the outdoors, awesome!

The loft bedroom is oversized and has 1 King and 2 Twins. This room will also be among the favorites.

During the winter the lay of the land is the perfect setting to allow for its own snow play hill for the kids.

The entry level has the main living room, complete with a futon couch for sleeping if needed. A wood burning stove to enjoy on cool winter days/nights or summer evenings. A TV with VCR and DVD for entertainment as well as an awesome deck to walk out and enjoy the view. There's a BBQ on the deck for those wishing to grill rather than cook indoors, a table and chairs for outdoor dining or relaxing is also part of the features out on the top deck.

From first glance the cabin makes you feel like you are back east, New England at the Cape. Its white picket fence protecting a large front yard welcomes guests. the spacious yard is a perfect playground for young children.

Once inside, its decor is warm and comforting. Boasting wood floors throughout adds to the warmth of its charm.

The family room is large and spacious, an oversized fireplace dominates the family room, the mantle is perfect to hang stockings from for those staying during the holidays. The 32" HD TV in this room offers HBO and Cinemax as well as a DVD player. 2 large sofas add to the comforts of this room. Internet with cable modem as well as a stereo with CD and IPod player, games and puzzles are all part of the entertainment.

The dining area is also part of this family room. The large dining table and chairs serve up to 8 guests. The windows that surround allows guests to gaze outside and remember that the beauty of the outdoors is only steps away. There are 2 french doors leading to the large back deck. Here guests will find outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy as well as a BBQ for those who like to cook outdoors and an awesome hot tub.

The hot tub is spacious for 6 and is conveniently situated on the deck, perfectly convenient access anytime of year, especially in the winter.

The large back yard is fully fenced, just down from the deck and to the side is a great area for basketball. Complete with a cemented area for playing and a basketball standard, all that's needed is the players!

authentic Big Bear cabin reminiscent of the pioneering spirit of yesteryear. 

Built in 1947 by the owner's grandfather. The owners loving tribute to their family heritage has focused on keeping the cabin as close to its original construction in order to keep its primitive feel and rustic atmosphere.

Those looking for a quite time are sure to enjoy. With knotty pine throughout and a rock counter top in the kitchen, its special touches will offer a rustic adventure.  

A few modern amenities have been included, a TV (no cable) with DVD in the living room and a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker in the kitchen. The one bathroom offers a shower only, no bathtub. This rustic cabin offers a tiny loft offering two twin beds, perfect for kids. The outdoor deck offers two metal chairs to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. The lot is large with open areas, perfect for yard or snow play. 

Rustic Pines is only 100 yards from the water, very close to Holloway's Marina for guests wishing to dock their boats or rent one. Just a brief drive away from the village with its many shops and theaters.  

Cozy, rustic, old-fashioned, and true to its heritage, Rustic Pines will give you a taste of what it was like many years ago.
